Your visit to Cambridge wouldn’t be complete without walking through King’s Parade. The Backs The Backs of Cambridge refer to a continuous green space and the curve of the river Cam running behind several of the Cambridge colleges – Kings, Trinity, St Johns, Clare College. The small wooded area is tree lined with a walking/cycling path along the ‘back’ entrances to the Colleges.

Visiting Cambridge with your doggie-pal? Novotel Cambridge North, just 2.2 miles north of Cambridge is a brilliant place to stay. Overlooking Heybrook Bay to the left and Westlake Bay to the right, Renney Point is a hidden and secluded spot that yields breath-taking views over both bays as far as Plymouth Harbour. While there is no dedicated car park, there is ample parking space in front of the houses that line Heybrook Drive.

You may have missed this Victorian colonnade, an open front terraced summer house tucked away on the edge of the Plymouth Hoe (public park). Also known as the Belvedere Wedding Cake, it is a nice place to sit down and enjoy the view when you are not in a hurry.
